The Little Mill Inn, Rowarth is an iconic pub that also offers bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of the Peak District countryside, close to Kinder Scout and The Pennine Way, with plenty of walking and cycling/mountain biking routes straight from our door.

Inside they have all the charm of a traditional country pub with a roaring log fire, superb, locally sourced home cooked food and a fine selection of ales and lagers.

They have a huge beer garden, outdoor bar and adventure playground to keep the whole family happy.

The Little Mill @ Rowarth has a lot of history, along side the pub was once a fully functioning mill that was used for the making of candle wick in the 1780's. They still have a water wheel to represent the original which was ruined in the great Rowarth cloudburst of 1930.

The pub also doubled up as the village post office for many years.

On the grounds they also have the original Derbyshire Belle an antique Pullman train carriage which was used on the London to Brighton Line. When the pub invested in the Derbyshire Belle it was firstly used as the pub's restaurant but is now three B&B rooms (currently not available) which still hold all the original Art Deco features of the Belle train.

New owners or "custodians" of this wonderful country pub & deluxe B&B are Iain & Sarah who along with Neal Barber (general manager) and Nick Stewart (head chef) are dedicated to ensuring your visit or stay exceeds all of your expectations.

Over the past year an incredible amount of work has been done both inside and out to enhance this historic pub and now includes six deluxe B&B rooms and two self catering apartments.
